CONRAD'S DANCE STUDIO is a small independent studio,  owned and operated by Conrad Privett. A studio designed to teach informal Social Dance as well as formal Ballroom Dancing Dedicated to bringing the fun and challenge of dancing to Southern California Orange County residents at a reasonable cost. Whether you are interested in dancing as a serious hobby, just need to get ready for an upcoming special social event, or would like to put a little more fun and excitement into you lives, we are interested in serving you! We would like for you to be part of our growing studio, as a private dance student or as a participant in one of our many group classes. We know you will enjoy our top quality training, our positive friendly atmosphere, and the personal growth that happens when become involved in dancing!

Conrad started teaching dancing in 1956 with the Authur Murray Dance Studios. He has also been affiliated with the Xavier Cugat Studios and The American Dance Clubs. He is a qualified Gold Medal dance teacher as well as an experienced studio manager. His degrees  in psychology and sociology assist him in planning a dance program not only to meet the artistic needs of  his students but also bring  pleasure and new friends into their lives by helping them to increase their confidence  and become more involved in life through their social dancing.

ODance Training

Conrad's offers dance training in Ballroom, Swing, Country Western and Social Dancing in both private and Private group sessions.

Pre-Wedding Training

In addition to excellent training in all the popular dances, we specialize in helping make the wedding dance, a vary special event with a full array of wedding dance planing, training and services.

 

Studio Activities

In addition to excellent Dance Training, the studio offers a complete social dance experience by giving  its students an opportunity  to use their dance training in some of the following studio activities!.  

A. Student Practice Dance Parties
Every Saturday night from 8 - 10 we have a student practice party where our students can come and dance with our staff and other students in a nightclub atmosphere! Only active students are allow to attend this party so they can have the support and companionship of fellow students and studio staff. While building up their confidence and dance experience in a warm friendly nightclub atmosphere before going out onto a public dance floor. This is included as part of their dance lessons.  At each student party there is a short lesson covering either a  ballroom, Swing, Country Western, or a fad dance.   B. Saturday Night Dance Parties
One the first Saturday night of every month the studio opens its door to student and non  student alike for a night of fun and dancing from 8 - 11  Admission is $5.00 per person for non students

 
C. Night Club Outings
Once or twice a month our students and staff meet at a local night club to experience the fun   and excitement of dancing to one of the local bands and yet still have the support and  companionship of  fellow students and studio staff


D. Weekend Dance Trips
At least once a year we have a special weekend outing.  Cruse, Dance Conventions, out of  town Dance Contest, or week end dance rendezvous.
E. Dance Performance Opportunities
Our students and staff are giving an opportunity to perform in dance for senior citizens homes, civics groups and other local private  and public clubs as part of one of our Dance Teams.

Throughout the year we also have Non dancing get aquatinted activities:  picnics, Ice skating, swim party, etc.  where students can get together and get better aquatinted  while spending some time off the dance floor enjoying one another.
